Things to Do

WHERE CAN I EAT!?

SEA ISLAND

If you are staying in our room block, you can dine at any of the Sea Island-operated restaurants- we'd highly recommend Tavola (reservation recommended) and the Sushi Lounge (walk-in only)

SOUTHERN SOUL

The best barbecue in Georgia (or maybe the world)

SAL'S NEIGHBORHOOD PIZZA

"Better than anything I've had in New York" says the bride-to-be. We suggest ordering 1-2 hours in advance if getting take-out

BUBBA GARCIA'S

Great Mexican food by day, "lively" bar scene by night

PALMER'S CAFE

Our favorite breakfast spot on St. Simons

HALYARDS

Great local seafood joint next-door to the Inn. Available for dine-in and take-out

DULCE DOUGH

Local bakery serving the best coffee and pastries on the island

DOROTHY'S COCKTAIL & OYSTER BAR

Upscale southern coastal cuisine

WHAT TO DO?

COUNTRY CLUB SPORTS

Guests staying in our room block can reserve tennis, pickleball, and golf directly through Sea Island

BICYCLE RENTAL

Bikes are available for hourly and daily rental at Monkeywrench Bicycles on St. Simons, as well as through PEDAL at the Sea Island Beach Club. The Inn also offers complimentary bikes for any guests staying there

AVENUE OF THE OAKS

Drive the dramatic oak-covered avenue leading up to the Lodge. A great spot for photos

ST. SIMONS PIER VILLAGE

The Pier Village district has many wonderful restaurants (Palmer's Cafe) and shops to explore

WORLD WAR II HOME FRONT MUSEUM

Housed in the historic St. Simons Coast Guard station, this museum is a great stop for our history enthusiast guests

FORT FREDERICA NATIONAL MONUMENT

Remains of pre-revolutionary fort which defended British colonies against Spanish invasion of Florida. Part of National Parks Service

TWO FRIENDS

Mother of the Bride's favorite local shop
